Components and Accessories

Cervelo has a deep line of components, some of which are proprietary to their framesets or each other. From the distinctive modular V-shaped carbon stem of the S5 and it's handlebar sibling, to the various aero carbon seatposts the company has used over time, these components have been systemically developed to match the requirements of the various framesets. Working with both carbon fiber and aluminum, the engineers have created some of the strongest, most reliable handlebars, stems and seatposts used today. To be used on a Cervelo frameset, they have to be high quaility and built to perform, befitting the purpose of the completed bike.

With the 5-series frame and bike models, the fork steerer features a C-shape stem interface, as these bikes all require fully internal routing for wires and hydraulic hoses. The ST31 Carbon and ST32 Aluminum stems feature the C-Shape receiving interface. Other than the Aspero-5, the other 5-series models also feature a D-shape carbon seatpost- again proprietary to the Cervelo design. Are these attempts to limit your choices? No- these are integrated features of the framesets that are specifically engineered for strength, aerodynamics, or as meantioned above, internal routing purposes. Rest assured that when you purchase a Cervelo carbon handlebar, stem, or seatpost that you are getting a high quality component you can rely on for years.
