The folks at 3T claim the Ergosum Pro handlebar is "shallower than traditional drop bars, with a little more reach". That statement rings true and is exactly the way we would describe the bar. It is also the reason the bar is so popular. When you think it through, being in the drops isn't always the most comfortable place, so by effectively having a shallow drop it makes this position easier to access and generally more comfortable, by being easier on your back and neck. Further, if you are going to be in the drops, why not be a bit more forward for improved position and aerodynamics - hence the "little more reach" statement.

Since this is a Pro level product it is a perfect balance of value and performance. The bars are composed of triple butted 7050 aluminum that has been shot peened and anodized black Simple but effective white-sash graphics on black bars look great and signifies the bars as a 3T Pro level product.

It's important to note that the bars are measured center to center. The Ergosum is available in 40cm-44cm widths and offered in 31.8mm bar clamp diameter only.
