The Rotundo Pro's traditional round shape is perfect for those riders who enjoy the look, feel and simplicity of a more classic bend handlebar. 3T engineers didn't veer of the path when designing the bend either. The shape has a medium drop bend very similar (almost identical) to the frequently referenced (by those in the know) Cinelli Model 64, which was the choice of many pros, including the great Eddy Merckx. The classic round bend mated with modern materials and fabrication process blends tradition with innovation.

The 139mm drop, deep by current standard, is ideal for those riders who prefer to spend long hours in the drops and especially so for those with large hands. Your body weight also sits lower, ideal for sprinters and rouleurs. The bend radius was engineered to offer a decent set-up with today's shifters, but keep in mind those shifters were designed for a smooth transition off a compact curve, with increasing radius. You won't get the super flat set-up, but if you ride in the drops, you get better lever access for shifting and braking. This is a bar of specific choice, so look carefully at the design, shape and measurements. Also know there are no grooves for cable routing. Old school, indeed.

Given this is a 3T Pro level product, it is a perfect balance of performance and stiffness, at at great value. The 7075 series aluminum has been shot peened and anodized black for extra stiffness and durability. Simple but effective white graphics on the peened black bars look great and signify the bar as a 3T Pro. The Rotundo Pro is available in 40cm-44cm widths and offered in 31.8mm bar clamp diameter only.
