The close-fitting, clean visual look of the ALÉ Color Block Short Sleeve Jersey is complemented by excellent UV protection and comfortable feel on the skin. With a slightly heavier knit fabric the Color Block may not be great for hot summer days, but is plenty comfortable and has all the features you expect in a cost-effective performance cycling jersey.

There are two primary fabrics used to create the Color Block. The first- used over 80% of the jersey is called Freshness, a soft, high stretch textile that has very good moisture transfer and mild compression when properly fitted. With 87% polyester and 13% elastane, the stretch is controlled and resilient to regular use. It moves easily on and with the skin, easing moisture off the surface and releasing it away from the skin.

The complementary fabric is ALÉ's Bike Mesh, featured in panels up the sides and under the arms, as well as the skin-facing layer of the sleeve cuff. This polyester blend only carries 4% elastane, so it has only mild stretch and it keeps the body's highest moisture production locations cooler and drier, while also allowing air to circulate on the skin. The sleeves design carries a standard shoulder structure and seam, with a contemporary length that add some mild muscle support. The interesting aspect is a dual cuff, with the mesh inner layer and Freshness outer. The breathable mesh holds the sleeve in place, and also allows air in and moisture out.

Finishing off the Color Block Jersey, ALÉ gives you the high quality YKK Vislon zipper, a pro-style three compartment pocket system with ample storage, silicone treated elastic rear hem, and reflective rear features. The graphics on the Color Block offer a nice offset to the main color and the black mesh panels. ALÉ considers this a European club fit jersey, but it is a form-fitting piece, just with much less restriction. Feedback is that this series runs small, so more like with the race-oriented designs, we recommend sizing up if in any doubt about fit.
