Compact road frames, small frame sizes, and bikes with sloping top tubes often leave you wrestling with bottles because there's not enough clearance to extract them vertically. The Flip Flop lets you mount the cage for side loading from either direction, so you can work around whatever frame constraints you're dealing with.

The design uses a two-piece construction where the spine of the cage mounts over the base. During installation, you orient the spine to face the direction you need for bottle access. Once mounted, the two pieces function as a single unit and the joint isn't visible or relevant to daily use.
