The updated Spring Fall Gloves EVO feature added durability on the fingers, prolonging the gloves’ lifespan and adding additional insulation for the body’s most exposed extremities without compromising shifter operation or impeding touchscreen operation. Assos also updated the padding, matching efforts across their gloves for all seasons. These EVO gloves replace the previous model, which did wear a little quickly, but were very popular. Considered a true performance cycling option for cool weather, the Spring Fall EVO Gloves are still a lower volume, lightweight piece that brings modest insulation, impressive flexibility, and interior softness, all in a pre-curved anatomic design that feels natural on the bike.
The elastic brushed Lycra fabric from the 1st gen returns, with more insulation value, and it fits like a second skin to offer maximum comfort and protection at the handlebar. The inner surface utilizes the loft from the brushed surface to ease moisture away from the skin and out through the stretch material to keep you dry. Low in volume, the gloves have a microfiber palm material for durability and feature extended, seamless cuffs, touch-screen fingertips (thumb, index finger), and targeted palm padding. The updated padding is placed perfectly and is both low volume and flexible so it conforms to the bar and hand with a subtle effect. Assos integrates this feature into the anatomic "no wrinkle" construction and 3D curved structure so it feels natural. This is only possible due to the three separate textiles which are worked into a four panel construction. You can feel this attention to detail when you place your gloved hand on the bar or controls.
