The broad, four arm, carbon fiber spider/drive side crank arm is sculpted for maximum efficiency, but you will swear it is all about the art. Campy Tech Lab engineers used in depth analysis developed new profiles for the ring teeth that are specific to the placement of the power stroke and changed the angles of the ring to reflect how the chain rides up or down during shifting. Sophisticated ramps, pins and specific machining of individual teeth help to move the chain up and down guarantee maximum efficiency during shifting developed by working closely with professional teams.

The crank arms themselves are Ultra-Hollow carbon fiber constructions just like Record and SR. This hollow construction actually works to eliminate stress points while improving the weight to stiffness ratio.

Chorus cranks use the super smooth and well-proven Ultra-Torque mounting system where both crank side are held into place with a 10mm hex bolt and a super stout Hirth joint. This system makes installation and removal as easy as loosening or tightening one bolt. Friction fanatics appreciate how smooth the Ultra-Torque system truly is.
