The 12 speed Chorus crankset is a real blend of technology and versatility. Technically advanced thanks to unidirectional construction technology in carbon fiber, it is produced directly molded without any surface coating and has an Ultra-Torque steel axle like the Record 12 crankset. It is versatile thanks to its new ring of 123 mm bolts that, while giving it an extreme-performance structure, also ensures a wider variety of use segments. The outer ring mounts to the 4-arm asymmetric spider and the small rings bolts to it. The Bolt Circle DIameter on the Chorus crankset makes it compatible with 52/36, 50/34 chainrings and now features the brand new 48/32 ring combination. Overall the crank arm and spider delivers optimal stiffness and power transmission to the rear hub. The standard Campagnolo 145.5 Q-factor carries through to 12-speed and the biodynamics feel exactly as you are used to if coming off Campagnolo 10 or 11 speed

The high quality Campagnolo 12-speed chainrings feature symmetrical teeth on the internal ring, with a more evolved system on the large ring. The result is fluid, precise transmission, even with extreme cross-chaining and the narrow 12-speed chain. Wear is no different from the 11-speed system. As stated above, the new double set of chainring mounts offer more versatility, overall stiffness and the opportunity for weight savinds. The double rings allow for assembly of the large chainring on the crank to a set of 123mm BCD bolts, while the two chainrings are coupled together by a set of 96mm BCD bolts. The aluminum chainrings are true Campagnolo, and feature a surface treatment that protects and hardens the surface, ensuring long life.
