Shift cables wear at the housing interfaces where dirt works its way in, and brake cables develop surface corrosion that adds drag to every pull. Campagnolo's CG-ER600 kit replaces both systems with pre-lubricated housings and stainless steel inner cables designed specifically for Ergopower levers.

The stainless steel construction resists corrosion from road spray and sweat. Campagnolo pre-lubricates the housings with a low-friction compound that reduces cable drag compared to dry housing. The cable heads are shaped to interface precisely with Ergopower lever mechanisms from 2009 onwards, which means they won't work with Shimano or SRAM systems despite similar appearances. The kit includes enough housing to run full lengths on both brakes and both derailleurs without splicing.
