Description

While most track jacket designs take the collegiate approach in regards to style and fit, Castelli offers up an alternative with a slightly tighter and more fitted garment with a clean, understated look and style. The key words here are slightly tighter and semi-fitted, meaning it's not too tight nor baggy. Ideal for hanging out at the coffee shop, pre-race, post-race, or travel of any kind.

The Race Day Jacket is made with 95% Nylon and 5% elastane for additional comfort and fit. The Anthracite color is actually a melange conceit, with black and white fibers woven together to produce the interesting dark gray. The full zip style jacket sits cleanly against the torso, yet is slight enough not feel restrictive. It holds in some warmth, with a brushed fleece lining that is soft and helps to release excess perspiration. It won't do to look sweaty when wearing such a sharp piece. Luckily you have two slash hand pockets for affected modeling, or simply to keep your hands warm.

Black details on the grey base fabric adds quiet style and Castelli has held back on the bold advertising with a small embroidered scorpion on the upper left arm and a low profile Castelli word-art logo located just under the right hand pocket. Castelli delivers these semi-fitted jackets as true to size; you supply the suave posture and relaxed poses as you exit the podium.
