This RoS 2 shoe cover is made with a stretch water resistant and windproof breathable fabric and is cut high to the base of the calf muscle for warmth in dry weather. The RoS 2 now carries a Polartec® Power Stretch® Fleece liner to provide extra warmth at front of the cover, which complements the new side zones with 3-layer fleece-backed waterproof panels that offer more warmth and protection overall. For rainy conditions, the designers moved critical seams toward the outside, where they're less exposed. The water resistant YKK zipper is also moved to the side, and Castelli has included a molded reflective heel cup for visibility. Digging deeper into the details, you can appreciate how the contoured seams around the ankle provide an ideal, comfortable fit even as you have slight articulation throughout the pedal stroke. An Internal gripper around the cuff edge helps to truly seal out water from the top, without a circulation restricting elastic. The top of the zipper has a nice rubber pull and a small zipper garage to protect your tights. A reflective heel cap and a textured grip pull at the back of the heel makes it much easy to take the RoS Shoe2 Cover on and off.
