Castelli engineered crash protection into the palm and wrapped it around the side of the hand, using a highly abrasion-resistant material. The padding itself is a dense, yet supple gel that offers significant protection from vibration, wheel impact and tough falls. The back of the hand and the cuff no feature a superlight, high stretch textured mesh material to make the glove easier to get on and off, with a large pull tab for extra assistance. The mesh has been specially tuned for resilience and return over time, so you get a great fit for the life of the glove.
