Castelli's Affinity Lycra fabric is a light, compressive fabric with comfortable stretch and feel. The 210g material feels minimal despite its durability. The Lycra blend polyester can be woven in two or four way stretch panels and then placed accordingly to anatomic specifications. With the short portion of the Velocissimo, the now nine panels wrap the curve of the muscle zones, following muscle activity during pedaling and ensuring an excellent fit. The mild compression prevents the leg muscles from vibrating in the relaxation phase, saving you from fatigue. Blood flow is also encouraged, keeping you fresh and strong throughout the ride. Of course Affinity is a great wicking fabric, lifting and releasing moisture from the skin and out of the fabric so you stay cool and dry. The now famous wide, sublimated Giro3 leg bands hold the short legs cut in place without restriction or binding.

The KISS Air pad seat pad is perfect for long rides in any weather condition, but truly shines in the heat. The padding structure is similar to the Progetto series pads, and features good stretch, outstanding padding, and the expected antibacterial properties. Both the cover and the pad itself breathe well, working to keep this crucial area as cool and dry as possible. At the same time, the pad is light, not bulky and feels like sculpted, seat pad should on the saddle not too minimal, not excessive.
