Cervelo's R3, R-Series, and Aspero models have a seattube that accepts a round 27.2mm diameter carbon seatpost. Many of those frames and bikes came with Cervelo's SP19 Carbon Seatpost, which features a modest amount of vertical flex to offer some bump compliance and a UD carbon construction that helps to mitigate road vibration. Available in two options, Zero offset, and 25mm offset, the SP19 has been also been a popular upgrade for any frameset requiring a 27.2 post, due to it's comfort enhancing ride and minimal logo visual effect.

Cervelo has since released the SP24 27.2mm round post, which is available in a Zero or 15mm offset for the Aspero, but the company continues to offer the 350mm long SP19 in the 25mm offset setback version for cyclists who require the additional setback.
