The Chris King GripNut 1" threaded headset features a system where the locknut and adjustable cup are joined by an internal threaded sleeve that allows a precise adjustment that will not allow the cups to un-thread and loosen. Due to this design it is not possible to put spacers in between the locking and adjusting cups, so stack height is non-adjustable. If you do not require a taller stack height, this is the perfect choice for a threaded headset, if you do require stack, then try the 2Nut design. Since most folks using 1" threaded headsets these days do not stack, this is our most popular choice.
