Many headsets to choose from for many frame options. The Chris king InSet 7 is identical to the Inset 3 except is has a 1 1/8" Devo baseplate which reduces the lower diameter so you can use a straight 1 1/8" steerer tubed fork.
The InSet 7 is what some folk refer to as a mixed-tapered headset. The word mixed comes from combining (or mixing) a pressfit internal bearing upper cup with an external bearing bottom cup. The top cup features an outer diameter of 44mm while the bottom cup has a 49mm outer diameter for a 44-49mm taper. Put the two together and you get a mixed-tapered headset.
The InSet 7 fits frames that have tapered headtubes that have an inner diameter of 44mm at the top of the headtube and an inner diameter of 49mm inner diameter at the bottom of the headtube and require an external bearing cup on the bottom of the headtube. As mentioned earlier, the base plate included with the InSet 7 is a 1 1/8" made to fit straight 1 1/8" steer tubes found in non-tapered forks.

The Chris King InSet 7 Headset will fit frames that have headtubes that taper 44mm-49mm Inner Diameter (1 1/8"-1.5") and require an external bearing cup on the bottom of their headtube. While this design is optimized with a tapered steerer tube fork, the InSet 7 may be used with tapered 1.5" fork steerer forks when paired with the Chris King 1.5" base plate (not included). Included is a 1 1/8" base plate for straight 1 1/8" steerer tubes.
