Selle Italia has made many saddles for Colnago to offer with their world-famous bicycle line-up. These Colnago-badged saddles become orginal equipment (OE). The SL X1 saddle share some features and design with the Selle Italia SLR, but offer a little more high density padding, and a Ryslan-Nylon shell that has a little more give than the carbon matrix composite found on the SLR. This is a road saddle with a sub 140mm width and 280mm length.

Rails are Selle Italia's 7mm round custom FeC Alloy blend, clearly marked for quick and reproducible saddle set-up. The 290 gram weight isn't super light, but reflects that low cost, high quality materials and construction can still deliver a durable saddle that is best suited for sport and recreational road cyclists.
