Deda Elementi's new Superzero handlebar ideally matches the modern philosophy of racing bikes designed to be more integrated and aerodynamic- apart from fitting better with impeccable bike control, and of course, light and stiff. This technical approach is evident on the aero profile and cross section of the Superzero Handlebar that have been designed to minimize drag and provide an ergonomic grip for any riding style at the same time. A special UD carbon fiber layup allowed and produced a highly compressed composite, reducing weight and ensuring a very high stiffness to weight ratio. The Superzero handlebar features also the modern Deda RHM (Rapid hand Movement) shape for an incomparable grip on the drops.

The 75mm reach and radius curve creates an ideal level set-up for today's shift lever bodies, and the 130mm drop is ideally sized for most hands, and provides easy reach to the brake levers. RHM (Rapid Hand Movement) refers to how quickly and easily the cyclist can change hand positions without restriction. The outer curve off the central bar stock is sloped perfectly so you drop and raise your hands from lever to drop and back up. At the same time there is a reasonable shoulder at that point for a resting position with firm bike control.

This 31.75mm diameter handlebar is designed for, and intended to be used with, a Deda 31.7mm stem. Using a 31.8mm stem may result in bar damage or create an unsafe riding situation. We highly recommend a Superlegerra series or the Superzero Stem as the best complementary components for this handlebar. While riders claim the alloy version of this bar is among the most comfortable alloy bars ever made, this UD cabron version takes maximum advantage of the aero shape and carbon lay-up to deliver substantial reduction in road vibration and minor impacts to the ccyclist's hands.
