Enve's carbon stems are hugely popular with road cyclists who appreciate stiffness and improved ride quality. Garmin's Edge GPS head units have the dominant position as training computer head units. The folks at Enve developed their alloy computer mount to integrate with the faceplate design of the their road stem for a clean, lightweight, secure, aero head unit position. The one challenge for Garmin users is that the first version of the mount was designed for the more compact Edge 500 series head units. This longer second generation unit can now accommodate the Edge 800 and 1000 series models, yet still works cleanly with the 500 series as well.

The 28 gram Enve Computer Mount is sculpted from aluminum alloy to perfectly integrate with the face plat of the Enve Road Stem, simply replace two of the faceplate bolts, line up the mount and faceplate, then install the supplied longer bolts and tighten to torque (5.5Nm max). Enve allows for four different mounting positions- 2 each vertical and horizontal. The instructions will assist you there. As the insert that the Garmin 1/4 turn mount locks into is made of a polymer softer than the plastic of the Garmin casing, the insert will wear over time. Enve' offers a replacement insert so your mount will always securely lock your Garmin Edge in place.
