Description
Blending world-class engineering with limitless versatility, the ENVE MOG is a gravel bike platform built for adventure, racing, and everything in between. While many bikes claim to do it all, the MOG is designed to excel at every task thanks to its precision carbon construction, geometry dialed for speed and stability, and class-leading tire clearance. Whether you're building it into a lightweight race machine or an all-day bikepacking rig, the MOG chassis offers a solid foundation that delivers power, control, and adaptability in equal measure.
At the core of the MOG is ENVE’s proprietary M.O.D carbon layup, engineered to offer a responsive, high-performance ride without compromising on compliance or durability. The frame and matching fork are both constructed from ENVE M.O.D Carbon, utilizing 12x142mm rear and 12x100mm front thru-axles, flat-mount disc brakes, and fully internal cable routing via ENVE's IN-Route system. This sleek setup ensures clean aesthetics, aerodynamic benefits, and protection from the elements during tough adventures. A threaded T47 bottom bracket offers reliable, creak-free power transfer while maintaining serviceability and compatibility with modern cranksets.
Though the MOG is typically sold as a chassis-only option—including frame, fork, headset, stem, handlebar, and seatpost—it offers an exceptional starting point for fully customized builds. Riders can choose their ideal frame size (49cm to 60cm), handlebar width, stem length, and seatpost style to suit their fit and performance goals. The complete frame weighs just 950 grams (size 56, painted, without hardware), offering a lightweight yet incredibly strong platform that competes with the best carbon road and gravel frames on the market. ENVE’s design prioritizes efficiency and responsiveness, making the MOG a legitimate weapon for gravel racing and fast-paced group rides alike.
The geometry has been tailored for modern gravel versatility. A slightly longer wheelbase and well-balanced fork rake (ranging from 57mm on smaller frames to 53mm on larger ones) offer stability on descents without sacrificing snappy handling on tight singletrack or twisty gravel. The fork’s axle-to-crown measurement sits at 395mm, helping maintain a centered, planted ride feel across all frame sizes. The tapered ENVE IS52/IS52 internal headset uses 1.5” bearings for smooth, durable steering under load, while the 27.2mm seatpost diameter maintains compliance over rough terrain without diminishing power transfer.
Where the MOG really stands apart is its ability to clear massive 700x50c tires, while still maintaining the nimbleness and drive of a high-performance race bike. Though the optimal tire size range is 700x40c to 44c, and the minimum recommended is 700x36c, the MOG’s generous clearance opens up countless setup options depending on terrain and rider preference. It’s one of the few bikes capable of bridging the gap between elite-level gravel racing and exploratory off-road adventure, without compromise.
Practical features abound as well. The MOG includes three water bottle mounts, a top tube mounting location for accessories or a bolt-on bag, and full fender compatibility for all-weather riding. Its flat-mount disc brake system supports rotor sizes up to 160mm in the rear and 180mm up front (with adapters), giving you plenty of braking power whether you're descending alpine gravel passes or loaded down for a multi-day trip. The axle specifications—122mm length front and 168mm rear—align with current standards, ensuring smooth integration with modern wheelsets. Though designed for 700c wheels, ENVE recommends against using 650b setups due to geometry considerations.
The ENVE MOG is purpose-built for riders who refuse to compromise between speed, stability, and versatility. From race day to rugged exploration, the MOG adapts to your ambitions. Whether you're chasing podiums or just seeing where the trail leads, this frameset offers the performance DNA of a top-tier race machine with the practical features needed to handle whatever the journey demands.
