The Edge 25 might just be the perfect bike computer for riders that don't care about seeing a huge amount of details during the actual ride itself. It is perfect for those who want just the basics on a small, efficient and easy to read cycling computer.
For only about $40 more, the Edge 25 provides many additional features over the Edge 20. The 25 has ANT+ connectivity with speed, cadence and heart rate sensors (sold separately). The speed sensor option allow it to record speed and distance on an indoor trainer. It has Bluetooth Smart for syncing with your smart phone for uploads, live tracking, call and text alerts. There is an additional heart rate data page and the ability to set heart rate alerts.
The easy-to-use Edge 25 is GPS + GLONASS-enabled bike computer tracks how far, how fast and where you ride. Because its GLONASS and GPS, it acquires satellites much faster than GPS only units. It's extremely durable and small in size, which makes it perfect for travel. Since it's GPS based, just place it on the included bike mount and you're ready to roll - no wheel size programming required. It's ideal for basic training and everyday riding. Included is a Garmin quarter-turn mount (just like the one that have been out for years) and the Edge 25 is compatible with 3rd party mounts.
The Edge 25 uploads to Garmin Connect and other 3rd party sites like Strava and TrainingPeaks to see your ride on a map, analyze it and share it. Use the courses feature to follow new rides, challenge your time on previous rides or download rides from other Connect users for a virtual competition.

Newly overhauled devices will still have a one year manufacturer's warranty when purchased from a Garmin dealer. Please note that newly overhauled (NOH) devices received as replacements for servicing will have either a 90-day warranty or the remainder of the original device's warranty, whichever is longer."
