Although Lezyne keeps the look of the Lite Drive 1000XL simple, it is packed with features. An optional use Overdrive Race mode will allow to switch between just Overdrive (1000 Lumens) and Economy (150 Lumens), but you actually get seven different lighting modes to choose from overall. The range of power levels is ideal, as are the Flash and Pulse modes. Colored LED power indicators keep you abreast of battery life, and side cuts in the housing, at the lens, deliver 180 degree visibility in all lighting modes. The 2 LED beam itself is powerful, with Lezyne's MOR optical reflectors sending light up the road, but also giving excellent spread as well.

There are two charging times for the Li-Ion battery depending on USB power available. A 2amp USB connection will bring a depleted battery to full charge in 2 hours. A 1amp USB connection will take 4 hours for a full charge. The USB cord is supplied, along with a removable stable rubber strap/cradle mount that will accommodate all bar sizes. Lezyne does make a helmet mount for the Lite Drive 1000XL as well. Overall, we carry Lezyne for quality and design.
