It is this last aspect that has driven hub development over the years, and with the push towards various thru-axle systems being used to meet new frame and fork standards, hub shells have been keep oversized to allow for adaptations to different diameters and dropout widths.

This 9.5 Rear Wheel Adapter set was created to swap from a 12mm/135mm thru-axle to a standard quick release skewer style 10mm dropout with 135mm width. The two end caps are easily swapped out with the existing models without tools. The rubber o-rings provide adequate friction without additional fastening. This adapter set does not come with a wheel skewer, so you will need a standard 135mm style QR skewer to complete the transition. Please consult with Mavic for wheel model compatibility.
