For a 29er rider on a budget, the choices are endless. Unfortunately, the most cost effective wheels are often far too heavy, or just not reliable. Mavic answers your call with the CrossOne Disc 29er wheelset. It is a Mavic wheel system after all. You get a machined aluminum hub, straight pull spokes, an extruded double wall rim, sealed cartridge bearings and the assurance of Mavic quality.

The 6-bolt disc rotor wheelset runs 24 straight-pull steel spokes front and rear, which maintain high tension for lateral stiffness, yet damp trail chatter and reduce the impacts that can damage wheels. The S600 aluminum rim is shaped for strength and the 19mm internal width allows you to run 1.5-2.3" tires for a larger contact patch, even with this tube-type system. The rear freehub features Mavic's proven and durable FTS-X freewheel. The steel, 2 pawl system is efficient and provides a solid engagement at all times.

The front hub is 15mm or QR capable, and the rear is 135mm QR only. Mavic's excellent machining ensures a clean, perfect 6 bolt disc rotor mount.
