Niner's standard carbon seatpost has been upgraded from a bonded aluminum head design to a more integrated and wrapped head design that looks seamlessly carbon and is much stronger. The cradle plates are forged from aluminum. The new offering, in the Zero setback, 27.2mm x 400mm size offering weighs in at 250 grams, which is excellent for a carbon post listed for under $120. The UD carbon lay-up offers substantial strength and just enough of the right type of flex for you take to advantage of sloping frame designs. The 27.2mm version is optimal for the Niner RLT frameset, helping take the edge and buzz off from pavement, gravel or packed trails.

The two-bolt design of the clamp make it simple to dial in the correct angle for your saddle, and when properly torqued, will never loosen up on you. The chromoly bolts can take the load and the cradles distribute the force along the saddle rails.
