Exceptional savings on the Straight Jacket, one of Oakley's more popular Eyewear designs. Limited to quantity on hand, act soon to take advantage of this great deal.

The Straight Jacket is what we'd consider a hybrid piece. Meaning, it falls somewhere between sport and lifestyle glasses. And while its slender and svelte looks appeal for walking around town, the Straight Jackets have been a crowd favorite from riding due to their lightweight and low profile.

The Straight Jacket are about the size and general frame shape of a standard pair of sunglasses that you would purchase for the beach or driving. But being a pair of Oakley's, sport is woven into their DNA which means you get a lens curvature that wraps your face tighter to provide excellent coverage and protection. The durable O Matter frames are lightweight but also robust for mucho durability. They also feature Oakley's familiar Three Point Fit system, which means just the arms and nose bridge will come into contact with your head. These contact points have Oakley's Unobtanium rubbery material which provides a comfortable non-slip grip. The single pin hinge is solid and offers smooth action when opening and closing the arms.

The Straight Jacket lenses are polarized for supreme vision. Most folks aren't 100% clear on why they should spend the extra cash on polarized lenses, we'll explain what polarization is and its benefits. Standard tinted eyewear reduces brightness, while eyewear with polarization treatment reduces brightness and reduces glare. Glare is caused by sunlight that bounces off horizontal surfaces such as water, land or any reflective material and is then reflected back to you in a horizontal direction. The chemical polarization filter on the lens contains molecules that are aligned horizontally to absorb horizontal light waves and reduce or eliminate glare. Non-polarized lenses will not handle reflected horizontal rays and that's how you end up with annoying glare.
