These spacers can be used with any 1 1/8" fork steerer tube, but were developed by Officine Mattio for their bikes that feature a standard stem and fully integrated routing, which makes it difficult to adjust stem stack height once the brake and shift systems have been installed. The puzzle-piece type interlocking halves allow you more easily change the stack height, yet are truly secure when under downward pressure from the stem.
