Cervelo Gravel Bikes
Cervelo's Gravel line-up consists of two models, the Aspero and the Aspero-5. The two framesets share many of the same characteristics, geometry, and capabilities, but the standard Aspero came first, and as gravel began to grow and embrace racing over eventing, it was the first gravel bike that truly felt natural and trusted by many pure road cyclists. Fast training several days a week off pavement became the norm and many road riders signed up for their first race. In other words, the Aspero concept, with it's Trail Mixer fork chip dropout system, became the benchmark all gravel race models would be compared to.
One-upping your own benchmark has been a hallmark of Cervelo's engineering team, and the Aspero-5 introduced a fully integrated cockpit, fork steerer and headtube set-up. Sleeker, stiffer, and cleaner, the front end of the Aspero-5 also featured a frameset-wide upgrade in carbon fiber with a lighter overall weight, increased pedal power transfer and a more responsive feel. It feels more like a true race bike, and many riders use it as their every day training steed. Gravel isn't for everyone but who doesn't love tearing down a country lane, dirt or pavement- wearing a smile only Cervelo can inspire.

Aspero: Forging A New World Off Pavement
Cervelo has established their reputation as an innovator, with high-level aerodynamics, ride quality, and reliable performance. Now this force has been brought to bear in the gravel realm. If you are looking for a gravel race-oriented bike that feels like a seamless transition from your road bike, you have to be excited about the Aspero. Cervelo wasn't trying to make "one bike for all", but we can attest to the overall capabilities of the Aspero from road to gravel to XC trail use. Fast, capable, and fun, the Aspero will surely deliver for those who love to go out and rip it up. This is a gravel frameset built for hard single day efforts in training or racing modes, or 2-3 hour rides with friends on country roads and hardpack trails. Cervelo has designed a frameset with somewhat unique features and properties that deliver a gravel riding experience road cyclists will embrace.
Aspero-5: Seeking Riders to Lead the Pack
With higher grade carbon fiber, a new lay-up schedule and major refinements that drive performance higher, the Aspero-5 builds off the strong reptuation of it's older sibling. The frameset retains the popular, proven Aspero geometry and Trail Mixer fork chip system, as well as an appearance with tube shapes that are largely the same. A closer inspection indicates a fully internal wiring and housing system, and a refined headtube. Not only is a completed bike visually clean- but faster. Cervelo's internal testing measures aero improvement at 32G of reduced drag over the standard Aspero. The engineers were particularly focused on making sure the Aspero and Aspero-5 handled properly, and the Trail Mixer system allows for informed choices. Performance and confidence keep you off the front.
