It is also suitable for adjusting chainring lockrings on Shimano® STEPS square spindle e-bike systems like the E6000, E6002, and E6050.

Manufactured directly by Park Tool, the BBT-49.3 is anodized for easy identification and durability, and features a 3/8" drive compatible with both ratchet and torque wrenches. This design enhances its usability in professional and home workshops alike. Additionally, this tool integrates seamlessly with the Park Tool BBT-RS Bottom Bracket Tool Retaining System. Specifically, the BBT-49.3 fits 16-notch threaded bottom bracket tool fittings with a major diameter (outside of notches) of 39-40 mm and a minor diameter (inside of notches) of 37.6 mm.
