Before jumping in to the POC Essential Road Thermal Tights, please know you must have a bib or short on if you desire a seat pad, as this model, like many others across the industry, does not include one. Some people continually question this, but frankly, many rider prefer the better fit of a summer weight bib or short to the more complex fit of a tight, or in this case, despite the name, a bib tight!

On the other hand, this isan excellent bibtight for cold weather cycling in dry to mildly wet conditions. The Thermal Tights have front panels which are windproof and water resistant, with a 5000 mm water column, and are made from durable fabric which also includes a soft brushed interior for increased warmth and comfort. The bottom section has been pre-shaped for a precise ride position and ergonomic fit which provides a maximum freedom of movement. Riding in cold or foul weather conditions places a greater emphasis on function and comfort which is why the tights also feature flat lock seams for next to skin comfort, a 4.5cm elasticated leg ending for a secure fit. The upper section has a highly breathable and flexible high back bib suspender for enhanced comfort and feel. The upper also features a pocket in the rear mesh for small items while the lower has small reflective tabs on the rear to for improve dynamic rider visibility and safety.
