The dominant fabric is a windproof and water-resistant material is used on the front of the lower section to protect against the elements. The tights are cut higher around the stomach to give extra coverage and warmth, and at he bottom feature a wide gripper at the leg opening for a comfortable and secure fit. The cut is anatomic a panel structure that enhances the pedaling action while supporting the muscles of the leg. For proper support, protection and comfort, POC uses their VPDS Multi D seatpad in the bibs. This pad blends their VPD material with silicone inserts for direct impact and vibration damping at point of contact, as they believe this is more effective at absorbing road vibrations than simple foam padding traditionally found in many bib shorts. One might argue the point, but dedicated VPDS wearers from their Essential Bib Shorts swear by the system.

The bib upper features comfortable materials and features that allow it sit close to the skin and wick away moisture. POC's fully flatlock seams are included in the garment for next-to-skin comfort (and vastly reduced chafing risk), and while upper is graced by highly stretchy mesh suspenders that never feel restrictive, offer great fabric return and ensure overall comfort in any cycling posture. Rounding out the piece, POC applies reflective detailing including their logo feature on the legs, helping enhance rider presence on the roads.
