For 2021 Ritchey has released a limited quantity of a special tandem frameset, the Outback TandM Break-Away, which it considers the ultimate way to share experiences in new locales with your travel partner. The “T and M” in the name of this tandem refers to Tom Ritchey and his wife Martha’s frequent rides in all parts of the world - the inspiration behind Tom designing the bike, and hence, this wheelset.

The Comp Zeta Tandem wheels build upon all the advantages of the original Comp Zeta Disc model but include some tandem-friendly features. The quick release disc hubs measure 100mm wide for the front and 145mm in the rear and are laced with beefier spokes and brass nipples to 36-hole Zeta tubeless-ready rims. The rims are Ritchey OCR offset for reduced dish and increased strength. Designed specifically for the Ritchey Outback TandM Break-Away frameset, the unique Comp Zeta Tandem Wheelset is strong, reliable and integrates beautifully with the frameset for many miles of happy tandem-ing.
