Rocky Mounts offers the new JetLine Rooftop Bike Mount as a replacement for the Pitchfork series. Instead of multiple versions to accommodate various bar shapes, the JetLine covers them all. Many European vehicles come with roof rack cross bars that have slots for accessory mounting, and many US vehicles have either bladed bars, or the Thule (square) or Yakima (round) aftermaket options. The Euro/slotted crossbars are found on European made cars from Audi, BMW, Mercedes, VW, Volvo, Mini, as well as aftermarket aero shape bars such as those from RockyMounts Ouray Crossbars, Thule Aero Blade bars, Yakima Whispbar, and Rhino Rack. Now the JetLine covers all the options, keeping it simple for you, even if you change vehicles or rack systems. The sleek, low profile design integrates very cleanly with all bar designs, which limits drag and the whistling roof racks of yesterday.

The proliferation of disc road, cross, gravel and multi-purpose bikes, means the JetLine was built to accept disc calipers with this wheel-off, fork mount Jetline countless cyclists. Of course, non-disc brake bikes work great as well. The JetLine doesn't come with Thru-Axle adapters, but you can purchase the Rocky Mounts Drive Shaft or Street Rod depending on your specific requirements. Rear wheel security comes from a simple, yet wholly effective and secure, incremental ratcheting strap.

Other wise, the fork mount design uses a 9mm skewer for all standard quick release wheel designs. The width adjustment is easily changed to manage fork drop-outs of various thicknesses, while the levered handle is used to fasten tightly. This handle is compatible with Rocky Mounts Lock Cores, so you have the option of purchasing a 2-Pack (or more if buying multiple carriers or planning ahead) of the cores, one to lock the bike to the mount, and one to lock the mount to the crossbar. The 45" long, low-profile, extruded aluminum tray can handle any wheel size and tire widths from skinny road models to 2.7" mountain bike tires. There is a 35lb carrying weight limit per tray. The rear wheel is secured with a durable, indexed strap. All necessary hardware for slotted, as well as round/square bar types is included.
