Sixteen vents and ports define the Flow Through Ventilation of the Strym. This concept is commonplace now, but Rudy has been using this for some time, which explains why it works great, yet is very quiet. The system is augmented by Adaptive Airframe Band. The airframe frontal padding minimizes the sweating process inside the helmet enhancing the air circulation and avoiding the release of unpleasant smells and ensuring the best level of performance.

Structurally Rudy uses In-Mold technology to cast the external polycarbonate outer shell directly during the injection stage of the expandable polystyrene (EPS) impact-absorbing foam. The result is a much more rigid structure which is knock-resistant and extremely light, allowing for better ventilation system. The combined action of the EPS structure, the polycarbonate cap and exo-skeleton creates resistance to the mechanical action exercised by an impact and dissipates the energy in order to prevent it from being transferred to the head of the person wearing the helmet.

For fit and adjustment, the lightweight RSR 10 adjustable retention system provides perfect personal comfort. Thanks to its wraparound structure, simple one-hand dial system and multiple micro-metric vertical and horizontal positions for the size adjustment, the RSR10 allows you to become one with the Strym. The same can be said for pliable straps, Fast Tex Buckle System, and Pro Divider Side buckles that allow you to best position the Y-junction of the chin strap set-up.
