The Shimano CX70 front derailleur is optimized for shifting Shimano's CX specific cranksets with 36/46 chainrings so you get the best front shifting possible in the toughest cyclocross conditions. Works with Shimano 10-speed levels and will work with other cyclocross specific cranksets up to a maximum of a 52t chainring. It is one of the few products made for road and cross use that is available in both top and bottom pull designs. This is particularly useful for top pull routing for direct derailleur connection. No need to use a lower mounted pulley wheel to reverse the cable direction.
