The Shimano FH-9000 front hub features revised seals for smooth running and even greater durability plus a new black anodized finish. A well-sealed, traditional cup and cone ball bearing design means it is full serviceable. Lockrings are now tightened with 5mm hex or 15mm cone wrench. Anyone who has serviced Dura-Ace hubs has likely found the grease good as new because the seals are so effective. The hub has an oversize aluminum axle for stiffness and light weight.
