The RD-6700A-GS Rear Derailleur was developed to accommodate a standard or compact triple crankset with an 11-30 cassette for a wide-ranging, closely spaced set of gear options. The wider link design allowed the mid-length cage derailleur to prevent the chain torsion and deflection of the extreme gear options.
