This 32t chainring is a stock replacement part for Shimano XT 770 cranksets and is designed to be used with only Shimano Hollowtech II style, 9 speed cranksets. Borrowing from the XTR design, this M770 chainring features carbon-alloy hybrid construction which add stiffness for better shifting while improving durability. This hybrid design is also stronger than a standard issue alloy chainring.

The M770 chainring has profiled teeth with pick up teeth and ramping to greatly improve up shifts and down shifts. Hard to believe Shimano can pack all this technology into this chainring and bring it in a very reasonable price point. Return to Top
