The Sidi Dominator Fit upper is constructed of Sidi's proprietary Tecnomicro fabric. This synthetic leather upper is thin, breathable, extremely stretch resistant and durable. Venting is accomplished with mesh inserts. A low profile and refined Caliper Buckle has a two-way ratchet for easy on-bike adjustment with incremental tightening and loosening. The buckle strap is attached to an adjustable Soft Instep Closure System and padded tongue eliminate pressure points.

Sidi choose the venerable Competition 2 sole for the Dominator Fit. This nylon sole has a good balance of stiffness for stiff pedaling platform and stability on varied terrain, but also has some built-in forefoot flex to provide some comfort and relief. The engineered-flex also makes it a great shoe to walk and run around on all types of terrain that you encounter on your mountain or cross bike. The front of the sole has two threaded ports for optional Sidi toe spikes. The Competition 2 sole accepts a two-hole SPD type mountain cleat which is industry standard. The lugs on the sole keep the cleat recessed and provide plenty of traction when walking.
