Formerly Sidi's top of the line shoe (until the Drako came along), the Dragon 3 is a high performance shoe that is chock full of Sidi's best features and frills. The Dragon 3 is being closed out, so it is a great time to take advantage of these great shoes at a fraction of their original price. The Dragon 3 upper is constructed of Sidi's proprietary Tecnomicro fabric that has a brilliant Vernice finish. This synthetic upper is thin, breathable, extremely stretch resistant and durable. Venting is accomplished with small perforations and mesh inserts. Closure and tension adjustment is provided by a Caliper Buckle on the instep, a Techno 2 buckle on the forefoot and a Velcro strap over the metatarsal area. The durable Sidi Caliper buckle has a two-way ratchet for easy on-bike adjustment with incremental tightening and loosening. The buckle strap is attached to the adjustable Soft Instep Closure System for optimal comfort. The Techno 2 buckle offers micro adjustment over the instep with the simple twist of a dial. The Velcro strap provides infinite tension adjustment through a simple hook and loop assembly. All three closure designs provide a perfect synergy for an optimized fit and are all easily adjustable while riding. Sidi uses a padded and vented tongue eliminate pressure points. Rounding out the upper is the HSS heel cup. It has completely adjustable tension with the turn of a screw to tighten or loosen the heel cup, depending on preference.

The full Carbon SRS (Sidi Replacement Sole) Sole is super stiff for the ultimate in power to the pedal and stability over rough terrain. Unlike the Spider, the Dragon sole is pure carbon fiber for weight reduction, vibration dampening and added stiffness with the ability to better dial in the slight flex in the forefoot. This means, Sidi builds a small amount of flex is built into the toe area which makes the Dragon 3 adept at walking, running, climbing rocks and dirt and whatever else your mountain endeavors through at you. SRS (Sidi Replacement Soles) soles are easily replaceable, which means the life span of the shoe is greatly increased.
