These SPD Adapter plates work for both older Sidi's with the recessed adapter plate system and Sidi shoes with the Millennium sole. They allow for two bolt SPD cleats to be installed on a Sidi road shoe with a three-hole drilling. These are commonly used to attach Shimano SPD and Shimano-style cleats to a three-hole road shoe to use in a spinning class on a SPD equipped spinning bike.
