The EVO version of the famed Epic platform delivers a much more trail capable version of one of the best XC frame designs ever conceived. Benefitting from amongst the lightest EVO frames Specialized has ever created and the most aggressive iteration of the Progressive XC Geometry to date, the Epic EVO Pro complete bike has the capability to dominate- period. Doubt it? Check out thee XTR M9100 1x12 mechanical drivetrain, M9120 4-piston hydraulic Trail brake calipers, the Roval Control SL Rims laced to DT Swiss 350 straight pull hubs, the Fox Factory Transfer post, and the rest of the top grade kit. Nothing shifts like XTR M9100 mechanical and for those who seek the most reliable mountain bike drivetrain ever made, this Epic EVO is the only one so equipped. Never fret, guess or fear, this is a bike that will take you far out in the wild over epic singletrack and get you back home, and early for dinner. Don't forget to wash your hands!

While the Epic EVO sees a seemingly modest 20mm increase in suspension travel up front over its 100mm Epic stablemate and just 10mm over the 100mm out back, the engineers worked overtime to make sure it’s been implemented in a way that will flip your brain as you hit your first stretch of singletrack. Meticulously engineered to retain as much of the Epic’s standard-setting efficiency as possible, the EVO’s new suspension kinematics work in concert with FOX's Rx XC Tune customized suspension front and rear to ensure you're able to make the absolute most out of every inch of travel on tap, while still offering increased anti-squat characteristics for improved pedaling efficiency.

With plenty of practice at staying ahead of the curve, the Epic EVO now lays claim to the most capable iteration of the Progressive XC Geometry ever to grace an Epic. It’s also more versatile than ever thanks to a new FlipChip-equipped rear end that allows riders to adjust headtube angle and bottom bracket height to easily customize Epic EVO’s handling characteristics by reducing the EVO’s headtube angle by half a degree while lowering bottom bracket height by 10mm. The other major diversion from the Epic is that the Epic EVO does not use the BRAIN suspension system. It it a more fully active system capable of range and reaction more like the Stumpjumper. Pairing the dominant FOX FLOAT 34 Factory's lightweight chassis with the FIT4 damper's impressive control and on-the-fly compression adjustment makes for a fork with impressive performance both climbing and descending, making it a perfect match for the Epic EVO.
