Description
Boasting seven Paris-Roubaix victories, the Specialized Roubaix has demonstrated that Smoother equates to Faster. Previously, achieving smoothness meant making sacrifices, but with the introduction of the revolutionary Future Shock 2.0, those days are over. Experience unparalleled control, damping options, and the innovative Pavé seatpost, bringing about the most harmonized Roubaix yet. It rivals the Tarmac SL8 in aerodynamics and sheds significant weight, all without compromising on comfort. Yet, it's not just a comfort bike; every design element speaks of performance.
For its build, the Expert is decked out with Shimano Ultegra Di2, renowned for its efficient 12-speed shifting and robust hydraulic disc brakes. Ride on the dependable Roval C38 wheelset.
The revamped frame embodies balance: aerodynamics, a lightweight FACT 10r carbon structure, and Rider-First Engineering. Through rigorous testing in our FreeFoil Shape Library and Win Tunnel, we've made the Roubaix more aerodynamic than the Tarmac SL6. Its Rider-First Engineered™ design guarantees uniform stiffness and compliance across sizes, accommodating from 44 to 64cm, all while reducing its weight. And it's ready for the toughest terrains with space for 33mm tires.
The newly crafted S-Works Pavé seatpost is a game-changer. It's the first to offer compliance with aerodynamics without added weight or intricate devices. Incorporating the Tarmac's D-shape, we've elevated its flex and introduced a novel drop-clamp in the frame, ensuring a well-balanced, bump-free ride.
Future Shock 2.0 emerges from pro riders' feedback from the demanding Roubaix cobbles. It's the epitome of smoothness and speed, providing enhanced control through an adjustable stem knob. This controls compression and rebound with its hydraulic-damped interiors. Together with the Smooth Boot, top cap, and Future Stem, it presents a seamless transition, optimizing aesthetics and performance.
