The helmet was reconceived to deliver increased ventilation by 10% over it's very effective predecessor while maintaining its leading aero performance. This innovation breakthrough was achieved through extensive Computational Fluid Dynamics and Win Tunnel testing, with a new entry ventilation port system up front and ultimately in a rear “diffuser” exhaust that helps minimize drag and employs larger vents to increase ventilation and airflow throughput with less overall resistance. Excess heat and moisture are expelled more quickly and efficiently, and while a 10% increase in overall ventilation may not seem like a major advance, the application of the system leads to a more impressive improvement in real world riding on hotter days- meaning you can enjoy the aerodynamic efficiency and resulting faster speeds more often, with less focus on the temperature on the day.
