The SRAM Force 1 Left Front Hydraulic Disc Brake and Brake Lever with a 950mm hose (formerly Force CX1) contains a hydraulic brake caliper, 950mm hose and a left/front brake lever. It is the matching lever and brake caliper for the SRAM Force 22/ Force 1 Right/Rear Road Hydraulic Disc Brake and DoubleTap Lever which is sold separately. This hydraulic system delivers a distinct competitive edge of far superior braking over cantilevers, linear brakes and mechanical discs. Much less hand force is required and braking force is massive yet incredibly controllable. This means you can take more speed later into corners with much less hand fatigue.

Because there are no shifting internals the lever is very light - just one of the many benefits of a 1x11 drivetrain. Lever material is carbon fiber for strength and low weight. Reach adjust makes it easy to adjust your lever for maximum one-finger control for all hand sizes and shapes. The shape of the hoods is the latest ErgoDynamic design with a smaller diameter and higher top shape to increase control and improve finger wrap. Texture on the hoods helps to provide a non-slip grip. For now you get two caliper options: Flat Mount, or Post Mount.
