Description
Chainrings wear out. That's not a design flaw—it's physics. Every pedal stroke under load grinds the tooth profiles a little flatter, and eventually shifting performance suffers. The Force AXS 12-Speed Inner Chainring lets you replace just the worn component rather than buying a complete crankset or new spider assembly.
SRAM's current road hierarchy uses a 107mm bolt circle diameter across Force and Red AXS cranksets, which means this inner ring drops right onto your existing spider with no compatibility headaches. The direct mount interface indexes precisely to ensure the chainring seats correctly every time—no fiddling with bolt alignment or worrying about concentricity. Machined alloy construction keeps the ring stiff under load while shedding unnecessary material where it won't affect durability.
The tooth profiles are cut specifically for SRAM's 12-speed Flattop chain. That narrower chain required SRAM to redesign tooth spacing and shaping compared to their 11-speed rings, so you can't swap older chainrings onto a 12-speed system and expect clean shifts. The ramps and pins that guide the chain during front shifts are positioned for the current generation drivetrain, which matters most when you're shifting under power on a climb or accelerating out of a corner....
