SRAM updated their Force AXS groupset options with the D2 generation, which in most components carries a new logo and graphics. The front derailleurs, however have a stealthy and universal-looking all black finish. These are available in s standard 2x option, as well as this Wide version. The Force AXS Wide Front Derailleur is optimized for use with smaller 43/30T X-Range chainrings on Wide clearance bikes, with Wide cranksets and uses Yaw technology so there’s no need for any form of cage trim adjustment. The pivoting Yaw design handles this automatically, aligning the cage for the chain angle required to keep from rubbing on the cage, as well as positioning it with successive shifts. On the bike, it also provides clearance for extra wide tires (700x45c and 27.5x2.1”), so there is no interference and you can't damage the unit.
