This is the Force AXS Rear Derailleur 36T Upgrade Kit. It allows you to gain the updated full range of the SRAM Force AXS road drivetrain for use with the10-36T cassette. The Force eTap AXS shifting system makes this an easy upgrade. You replace your current shorter cage Force AXS Rear Derailleur with this longer cage option, install the included Force XG-1270 10-36T cassette and supplied Force 12-speed chain, set the chain gap (tool provided), and pair your eTap AXS system. Now you have the full gearing range you desire to tackle more climbs and rougher roads.

SRAM's original Force AXS 12-Speed road set-up didn't include a 10-36T cassette option and the derailleur cage was designed for the smaller road-style cassette ranges. With more cyclists adapting higher cadence pedaling techniques and using the group for gravel and endurance riding, SRAM developed a new derailleur set-up along with the 10-36T cassette. This kit give you everything you need to upgrade your existing Force AXS drivetrain.
