The DUB standard is a 28.99mm crank spindle diameter based system that allows SRAM to use a single standard for any bottom bracket shell. The frame dictates the cup style, which is the only variable SRAM must offer options for. The rider can still take advantage of the oversized spindle and lighter weight close to the 30mm diameter of BB30, but with virtually any current or likely future bottom bracket option.

The NX Eagle DUB Crankset is only available with the Direct Mount chainring system, and is sold here as a complete crankset with a chainring. In this case the Eagle DM chainring is a stamped steel model, for a frameset with a 49mm (standard, non-Boost) chainline. A Boost version is a separate item. The X-Sync 2 chainring tooth profile improves on the original version, with better chain engagement, superior mud shedding and wear with the wide range and extreme angles of the 1x12 mountain drivetrain.
