The SRAM PC-X1 chain features SRAM well proven XX1 geometry at a more affordable price. Just like the XX1, it is designed to deliver the greatest strength and reliability to a drivetrain that doesn't have to make compromises for front shifts since the X1, XO1 and XX1 are 1x11 systems with a single front chainring. Like the XX1, the X1 meshes perfectly with X-Sync chainring for the ultimate in chain retention. It is virtually impossible to drop a chain when using X-Sync technology.

SRAM includes its familiar Power Lock for easy chain installs where there is no worry to get a pin in perfectly straight and at the right depth - something even experienced mechanics can struggle with. Basically just put the Power Lock in place with your hands and pull it into position with a little drivetrain tension.
